With current Development Officer, Callum Dunk, taking a position with the Port Adelaide Football Club, Badminton South Australia is excited to announce the appointment of Jack Crispin as the new Development Officer & Schools Coordinator.
Jack is a Flinders University graduate and has a variety of coaching experience. Jack temporarily filled in for Callum in late 2019 when he had to finish his university degree. Jack has previously completed a placement at Arsenal Football Club in London back in 2018. Jack has also been a Shuttletime Community Coach for Badminton South Australia since April last year.
The board are excited about Jack's appointment and hope he can continue the work done by Callum.

Badminton SA is starting a new video series called Meet The Coaches. This will allow the public to meet our coaches in case you see them at a school or working for us in the community. Our first video in the series is Development Officer, Callum.
Callum has been the Development Officer for nearly 2 years. Callum is actually leaving his position as Development Officer because he has just received a full-time position at the Port Adelaide Football Club and will be moving to Hangzhou in early February.

Badminton SA is hosting some more school holiday clinics at YMCA Marion Leisure & Fitness Centre on the 23rd of January 2020. There will be 2 sessions available with ages 5-9 from 12pm-1pm & ages 10-15 from 1:30pm-2:30pm. The cost of the program is $10/person with online payments available, cash on the day will also be accepted. Online booking is still strongly preferred. Badminton SA is hosting it's Under 13 & Under 17 Aged Titles on the 15th and 16th of February at WA Satterley Hall. This tournament will be used for selection of the Under 17 state team.

Badminton SA is hosting our first Shuttletime course of 2020. The course will take place on the 1st of February at WA Satterley Hall, Lockleys, starting at 8:00am (sharp). Please use this link to book your place in the course: www.trybooking.com/BHVEH

Badminton SA in on the lookout for a team manager and umpire to assist with the under 17's state team which will be held in Western Australia from April 10th to April 18th. From Monday the 9th of December the cost of casual court hire at Lockleys will be $15/hour from 5pm onwards. Court hire before 5pm will still be $10/hour.
