Sporting Schools
Sporting Schools is a $200 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities. Since Sporting Schools started in 2015, nearly 7,000 schools have received funding. School Excursion Program
Badminton SA has a brand new program established for Term 3 in 2019. This program allows students to come down to the courts at Lockleys and get three hours of Badminton fun on quality courts, with all equipment provided. Students will get a 75 minute Badminton lesson with a Badminton SA accredited coach and then get to play a 90 minute class tournament, in order to get technical coaching as well as match play experience.
Schools will need to arrange their own transportation. We can work with local councils to try and support this!
If your school is interested please contact Development Officer, Callum Dunk, sabaparticipation@gmail.com
